Sri Lanka hit 85 before lunch for the loss of one wicket

Sri Lanka start steadily against Pakistan

Sri Lanka have started solidly on the first day of the third Test against Pakistan and find themselves 85-1 at lunch.

Upul Tharanga and Dimuth Karunaratne are the two batsmen currently at the wicket with scores of 39 and 34 respectively.

Kaushal Silva fell for nine off 11 balls after a superb delivery from Rahat Ali.

The Sri Lanka pair did well to withstand some testing overs on a soft pitch after Pakistan gained the new ball and looked to be hitting their stride before lunch.
