South Africa trail by 276 runs as rain interrupts play

South Africa are 55-2 on day five in Colombo as the umpire calls for an early lunch due to rain.

Weather conditions at Colombo have forced the umpire to call an early lunch as South Africa are currently 55-2 on day five.

Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock were at the crease before the rain forced players off the field as South Africa hope for more luck with a draw.

Dean Elgar was sheepishly bowled after just five runs after a brilliant delivery by Dilruwan Perera.

De Kock has 28 runs from 48 balls at the interval as the rain continues to pour at lunch.
