Sri Lanka set 205 to secure victory over Bangladesh in Asia Cup

Sri Lanka need 205 runs to beat Bangladesh in the last Asia Cup league match.

Sri Lanka have been given a total of 205 runs to chase in order to win the last league match of the Asia Cup against Bangladesh.

Sri Lanka have already reached the final of the tournament, but Bangladesh, who won the toss and elected to bat, are yet to win a game.

It was a positive start for opening batsmen Anamul Haque and Shamsur Rahman, who raked up a combined 74 runs before Rahman (39), who hit six boundaries, was dismissed for an lbw by Ajantha Mendis.

Haque (49) fell just shy of a half-century after facing 86 deliveries following the dismissals of Mominul Haque (1) and Mushfiqur Rahim (4).

Sri Lanka's batsmen began to halt Bangladesh's attack with Mendis, Ashan Priyanjan, Suranga Lakmal and Thisara Perera taking two wickets apiece, while Chaturanga de Silva grabbed one.
