Sri Lanka's Angelo Matthews has been rated doubtful to feature in his nation's upcoming Test series against England.
The all-rounder has been sent home from Sri Lanka's Asian Cup campaign in Bangladesh with a calf injury.
"[Over] the last couple of days Angelo has had some fitness tests, he hasn't pulled through those well, so we made a call to send him back home, captain Mahela Jayawardene told Cricinfo.
"He will try to get ready for the Test matches that start in about 10 days' time. The selectors back home will decide and send a replacement for us."
Bowler Thisara Perera has already been ruled out of the series.
