Sri Lanka batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan has announced that he has retired from Test cricket.
The former captain ends his Test career after scoring 5492 runs in 87 matches, but he has indicated that he will continue to play one-day internationals for his country.
The 36-year-old said: "I have taken this decision to allow Sri Lanka cricket to groom another youngster in my place.
"I was to announce my retirement after the Zimbabwe Test series, but unfortunately, the tour was postponed."
Dilshan will hold a press conference on Thursday to formally confirm his decision.
