South Africa beat Bangladesh by eight wickets

Kagiso Rabada took a hat-trick on his debut for South Africa as they claimed an eight-wicket victory in their one-day international with Bangladesh.

The 20-year-old managed a record six-wicket haul as Bangladesh were bowled out for 160 in Dhaka, in a match that was delayed by rain and reduced to 40 overs per side

Rabada bowled out Tamim Iqbal in the second over, before seeing off Litton Das and Mahmudullah Riyad in quick succession.

Bangladesh were never able to recover, as Rabada eventually posted a tally of 6-16, which beat Fidel Edwards's debut record of 6-22 against Zimbabwe in 2003.

South Africa got off to a bad start to their innings when Hashim Amla was bowled out early on, but a strong partnership from Faf du Plessis and Rilee Rossouw helped them to ease to a final total of 164 to claim the win.
