Royal Challengers Bangalore opener Chris Gayle has admitted that he is yet to fully recover from a hamstring injury.

The West Indies international was absent for Bangalore's first four matches of the Indian Premier League season, but has since returned to hit figures of 20, 27 and 38.

"I haven't recovered fully," Gayle told PTI. "Still bearing some discomfort at this point in time, so I am just trying to monitor things as I go on. Those things are in places and you need to take it in stride as you go."

Bangalore are currently fourth in the table with six points.
