Oval Invincibles battled back from an opening order collapse to beat Manchester Originals in the men's Hundred final at Lord's this evening.
The Invincibles batted first and looked to be on course for a demoralising defeat in their first taste of the men's final as they fell to 34-5 in the space of 36 balls.
However, Tom Curran (67 not out) and Jimmy Neesham (57 not out) turned the game around with the highest partnership in men's Hundred history.
The duo put on 127 runs to salvage their team's innings, with Curran hitting five sixes as he reached 67 from just 34 balls, while Neesham needed only 33 deliveries to rack up his 57.
The batting turnaround saw the Invincibles finish their innings on 161-5 - a total the Originals were tipped to hunt down having already easily chased 197 to win Saturday's Eliminator.
Last year's beaten finalists began strongly enough too with an opening partnership of 34, but Phil Salt's dismissal by the Curran brothers - bowled by Tom and caught by Sam - sparked a collapse which saw them lose four wickets for 17 runs in 21 balls.

That included dangerous captain Jos Buttler departing for just 11, although Max Holden kept hope alive with his 37 off 25 deliveries.
Holden's departure after being caught lbw by Sam Curran left the Originals facing an uphill battle, though, and they could not find the 32 runs they needed from the final 10 balls as Oval Invincibles won by 14 runs.
The title is the first in the men's Hundred for the Invincibles, who also won the first two editions of the women's format.
Earlier in the day, Southern Brave succeeded the Invincibles as women's Hundred champions with a 34-run victory over Northern Superchargers in front of a record crowd for a women's domestic game in England.
The Brave, who had been beaten by the Invincibles in both of the previous two finals, fell to 8-2 early in their innings but fought back to post 139-6 - a tally the Superchargers never looked like chasing down.
Southern Brave eventually bowled the Superchargers out for 105 to clinch a comfortable triumph, bringing a dream end to captain Anya Shrubsole's career as she lifted the trophy in her final match before retirement.
