Gloucestershire's Jack Taylor has bowling ban lifted after almost one year

Taylor's bowling ban lifted

The England and Wales Cricket Board have announced that Gloucestershire off-spinner Jack Taylor is free to compete again after his bowling ban was lifted.

The 22-year-old was suspended from bowling by the ECB back in May last year following two separate illegal actions.

A statement from the ECB said: "Jack Taylor's suspension from bowling for England and in competitive county cricket has been lifted with immediate effect.

"This follows a reassessment as permitted within the ECB regulations that was carried out on February 4, 2014.

"This was subsequent to a period of remedial work undertaken by Jack Taylor on his bowling action after an initial analysis in May 2013."

Taylor has represented Gloucestershire at county level since 2010.
