Worcestershire have confirmed that Saeed Ajmal has agreed to have a third spell at New Road.
The spinner, who was recently cleared to continue his career following an investigation into his bowling action, will be available for the second part of the campaign, but he may miss the opening few weeks due to potential international commitments with Pakistan.
"I've had this difficult spell of my career with my action but I knew I would come through it and have had the support not only of Pakistan but Worcestershire throughout," he told the club's official website.
"Worcestershire have all the time stood by me and I can assure them I will repay the faith they have shown in me this season.
"I would love to be with Worcestershire as long as possible so I can help the club achieve their high goals and also help establish them in Division One."
The 37-year-old took 63 wickets in nine Division Two outings last term.
