James Anderson left out of England squad for final test

Anderson left out of England squad

England seamer James Anderson has been rested for the final test against the West Indies.

The 29-year-old had stated that is he fit and wants to play international cricket whenever possible. However, the selectors have decided to rest their number one swing bowler.

Steven Finn and Graham Onions have come in to the 12-man squad and it is likely one of these will be the player to miss out when the final XI is announced.

Stuart Broad was also linked with a rest, but the paceman has made the squad.

England squad: Strauss, Cook, Trott, Pietersen, Bell, Bairstow, Prior, Bresnan, Broad, Swann, Finn, Onions
