New Zealand declare on 508

New Zealand declare on 508-7 in the first innings of their Test match against the West Indies.

New Zealand have declared on 508-7 in their first innings on day two of their Test match against West Indies in Jamaica.

Kane Williamson led the charge early in the innings, but was dismissed by Sulieman Benn early on day two for 113.

Ross Taylor and Thomas Latham made half-centuries as the tourists looked to pile on the runs, while BJ Watling appeared to also be heading for a century, but was bowled by Shane Shillingford 11 runs short of his ton, leading to Brendan McCullum making the declaration.

Shillingford and Benn led the attack with the ball for the hosts, both finishing the innings with three wickets.
