Five Kiwis in ICC Team of the Tournament

Beaten Cricket World Cup finalists New Zealand are the best-represented side in the ICC Team of the Tournament with five of the 11 starters being Black Caps.

New Zealand suffered a convincing seven-wicket defeat to fellow co-hosts Australia in Sunday's final.

However, they have two more players than any other nation as they won every other game at the tournament before going down in the final.

Black Caps skipper Brendon McCullum captains the tournament's best XI and is joined by fellow Kiwis Corey Anderson, Trent Boult, Martin Guptill and Daniel Vettori, with three Australians, two South Africans and one Sri Lankan completing the lineup.

Zimbabwe's Brendan Taylor was named the team's 12th man.
