India on verge of Test win over South Africa

India set South Africa a tough target of 481, as the visitors reach 40-1 at tea on day four in the final innings of the Test Series.

South Africa's batsman have finally seen out their first wicket-less session as they reach 40-1 in the final innings of their Test series against India.

India declared half an hour from lunch, after Ajinkya Rahane became the fifth Indian batsman to score twin tons in a Test match, setting a target of 481 with just over five sessions remaining.

South Africa lost Dean Elgar to a Ravichandran Ashwin wicket in the five overs they had to bat out before lunch, before Hashim Amla and Temba Bavuma dug in to add 35 runs in 35 overs.

It took Hashim Amla 46 balls to get off the mark as South Africa look to play out an almost impossible draw.
