India set Pakistan target of 246 in Asia Cup

India set Pakistan a target of 246 runs for victory in their Asia Cup match in Dhaka.

India have set Pakistan a target of 246 runs for victory in their Asia Cup match in Dhaka after reaching 245-8 off 50 overs.

Pakistan started well, claiming the wicket of opener Shikhar Dhawan for just 10 runs in the third over.

India's middle order steadied the side after the shaky start, as Ravindra Jadeja, Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu all made half-centuries.

However, an impressive spell with the ball from Saeed Ajmal restricted India in the final 10 overs, as he claimed three wickets for 40 runs.
