Rahul Dravid: 'Mohammad Amir comeback would be great'

Dravid wants Amir comeback

Rahul Dravid has revealed that he would be delighted to see disgraced bowler Mohammad Amir return to international cricket.

Amir is currently serving a five-year ban for his part in a spot-fixing scandal which included his Pakistan teammates Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt.

Despite the scandal, Dravid hopes that the 19-year-old will return after his suspension.

The former India batsman told BBC Sport: "He's a superb player and when he's served his ban, I'd hope he'd be able to come back.

"We all want him to come back at some stage and I don't know whether that's ... it's going to be a challenge.

"I hope he can do it, it would be great if he can."

Dravid has recently retired from international cricket after a career which included 36 Test centuries.
