MS Dhoni impressed with bowling unit

India captain MS Dhoni reveals that he has been impressed by the improvements made by his bowling attack during the Cricket World Cup.

India captain MS Dhoni believes that improvements made by his new-ball bowlers are creating better opportunities for the rest of the side's attack.

India followed up their 130-run win over South Africa with a nine-wicket success over UAE on Saturday, and Dhoni has been impressed with the manner in which his team are subduing the opposition's batsmen.

After the match, the 33-year-old said: "The bowlers have really stepped up and this has led to improvements in other parts of the side.

"When we were losing games outside the sub-continent, it was a concern and we couldn't get wickets in the middle overs. Now, we are getting wickets with the new ball and the spinners are able to put more pressure on in the middle overs.

"As a unit they are doing well. They have shown they can do it game after game."

The routine victory over UAE ensured that India maintained their 100% record at the tournament in Australia and New Zealand.
