Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat admits that the team were surprised by Roy Hibbert's performance against them earlier this week.

Marcin Gortat has admitted that Roy Hibbert's performance against the Washington Wizards was "not what we expected".

The Indiana Pacers center had struggled for points in their first-round playoff series, but scored a season-high 28 during the 86-82 win over the Wizards earlier this week.

The Washington center told NBA.com: "Definitely, that's not what we expected."

The teams meet again later today, with the semi-final series level after the first two games.
