LaMarcus Aldridge: 'I don't want to leave Portland Trail Blazers'

LaMarcus Aldridge dismisses suggestions that he wants to leave the Portland Trail Blazers.

LaMarcus Aldridge has dismissed rumours suggesting that he is eager to leave the Portland Trail Blazers during the off-season.

A recent report suggested that the 28-year-old had become bored with life in the city, but he has moved quickly to reassure fans of the franchise ahead of next month's start to the season.

When asked by reporters if a problem with the city was behind the reports, Aldridge replied: "Nah, that's not true.

"I'm a quiet person that keeps to himself, really. Portland doesn't bother me. I don't have an issue with the city of Portland."

"I've been there my whole career. I like the smallness of it and the passionate fans. That's not true at all."

Aldridge has spent his entire NBA career with the Blazers.
