The Phoenix Suns have reportedly re-opened discussions with restricted free agent guard Eric Bledsoe over a new contract.
The team's training camp is due to open next week, with talks between the franchise and Bledsoe having stalled earlier in the summer when Phoenix offered a four-year $48m (£29.3m) deal, while the 24-year-old sought a five-year $80m (£49m) contract.
According to ESPN, the team is now willing to increase its offer after Bledsoe threatened to see out the final year of his existing deal, allowing him to hit the free agency market next off-season.
Bledsoe averaged 17.7 points in 43 games for the Suns last season.
