Phoenix Suns coach hails strength of bench following win

Phoenix Suns coach Jeff Hornacek hails the strength of his bench as they come back to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-120 on Sunday night in the NBA.

Phoenix Suns coach Jeff Hornacek has hailed the strength of his bench as they came back to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-120 on Sunday night.

The Wolves had been ahead in the game, however Markieff Morris was introduced and he led the way with 25 points off the bench to help counter a potentially match-winning performance from Minnesota's Kevin Love.

"We were getting killed. Marcus made some 3's. Markieff came in. That's key. Our bench is good," Hornacek told reporters after his side's comeback win at the Target Center.

"They seem to get the momentum going back our way. We have one of the best benches in the league."

The win sees the Suns sitting in third position in the Pacific Division, with a record of 41-29 for the season.
