Eric Bledsoe undergoes knee surgery

Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to repair the meniscus in his right knee.

Eric Bledsoe has undergone surgery after suffering a meniscus tear in his right knee.

The Phoenix Suns had initially hoped that the guard had just sustained a sprain, but announced that surgery was a possibility earlier this week.

The team, who have won two of their four games since he picked up the injury, have said that there is no timetable for his return yet.

Bledsoe previously had an operation to repair the meniscus in the same knee in 2011.
