Philadelphia 76ers send Spencer Hawes to Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers acquire center Spencer Hawes in a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Philadelphia 76ers have sent Spencer Hawes to the Cleveland Cavaliers as part of a trade.

The center joins the Cavs, who are on a six-game winning streak, in exchange for two second-round Draft picks and forward Earl Clark.

Hawes has averaged 13 points per game in his 53 appearances for Philadelphia this season.

The Cavaliers are currently three wins outside the playoff places in the Eastern Conference.
