Kevin Durant: 'Oklahoma City Thunder can win a championship'

Kevin Durant has said that the Oklahoma City Thunder can still challenge for an NBA championship.

The team reached the Finals in the 2011-12 season, but lost in the conference semi-finals last season.

The forward told The AP: "We're very confident that we can [win the championship].

"We're not going to come in and say, 'We can't win it all, we don't have enough'. We're a confident group of guys."

Since moving to Oklahoma City in 2008, the side have only failed to reach the playoffs once.
