Luol Deng invites Fabrice Muamba to watch Team GB

Chicago Bulls small forward Luol Deng has revealed that he plans to invite Fabrice Muamba to watch the Team GB basketball team at the Olympic Games.

Deng has wished Muamba luck in his recovery from the cardiac arrest that the Bolton Wanderers midfielder suffered during last month's FA Cup tie with Tottenham Hotspur.

The 26-year-old said: "I am a big Arsenal fan, and like every football follower I hope Fabrice makes a full recovery.

"The early signs look great, and it would be amazing to think he might play again one day.

"If he is well enough I'd like to invite him as my guest to come and watch me play for Team GB."

Deng recently appeared in the NBA all-star match for the first time.
