Los Angeles Clippers veteran Paul Pierce has suggested that the upcoming season could be his last in the NBA.
Pierce signed with the Clippers last month, after spending one season with the Brooklyn Nets and then the Washington Wizards following a long and successful spell with the Boston Celtics.
"This is probably the last ride of my career. I think this is where I'm going to end it," he said in his introductory press conference.
The 37-year-old averaged 11.9 points, 2.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game for the Wizards last season, but will now be reunited with former coach Doc Rivers in LA.
