West hails Indiana's composure

Indiana Pacers power forward David West has hailed the composure shown by his side as they defeated the Washington Wizards in game four of their semi-final battle on Sunday.

The Pacers took a 3-1 lead courtesy of a 95-92 victory, which saw Paul George grab 39 points and 12 rebounds, while West provided eight assists at the Verizon Center.

"Their second unit came out with a lot of intensity which got the crowd going which you can't [allow] on the road," West told reporters after the game.

"But I thought our composure, we never panicked... We know that in most cases we can just depend on our defense to methodically walk teams down, get stops after stops."

The two sides will square up again for game five on Tuesday.
