Harden brands teammates "role players"

James Harden has said that he and Dwight Howard are the "cornerstones" of the Houston Rockets, while the rest of his teammates are "role players".

Howard recently said that the departure of Chandler Parsons this off-season will not affect the team.

The shooting guard told the Philippines Star: "Dwight and I are the cornerstones of the Rockets. The rest of the guys are role players or pieces that complete our team. We've lost some pieces and added some pieces. I think we'll be fine next season."

Harden averaged 25.4 points per game for the Rockets during the 2013-14 regular season.
