Golden State Warriors land free agent Jason Kapono

The Golden State Warriors have announced the signing of free agent guard Jason Kapono.

The veteran 33-year-old, who can also play as a forward, last featured for Greek side Panathinaikos in the 2012-2013 season, averaging 7.6 across the campaign.

Golden State's new signing also holds strong links with the NBA, with the nine-year player ranking fifth on the the league's all-time leading three-point percentage list.

Kapono has played for a variety of franchises in the United States, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Bobcats and Miami Heat.
