Stephen Curry doubtful to feature against San Antonio Spurs

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry could miss San Antonio Spurs' clash with an ankle injury.

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is a doubt to play against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night.

The 25-year-old has been listed as day-to-day after suffering a bruised ankle, but missed shoot-around on Friday.

However, he did join his teammates later on in the day to attempt to persuade coach Mark Jackson that he was ready to play, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

While Toney Douglas is expected to fill in if he doesn't recover, Andre Iguodala could also act as a stand-in point guard if required.
