Joe Johnson: 'Brooklyn Nets can't catch a break'

Joe Johnson claims that the Brooklyn Nets "can't catch a break" following the news that Brook Lopez is likely to be out for the rest of the season.

Joe Johnson has claimed that the Brooklyn Nets can't seem to "catch a break" this season following the news of another injury to a member of the squad.

Brook Lopez is expected to miss the rest of the season after it was revealed that he has broken a bone in his foot, and Johnson believes that the injury is consistent with the run of bad luck suffered by the Nets.

"It's almost like we can't catch a break. It's always something every day, every other day somebody goes down. One man comes back, somebody goes down," Johnson told reporters.

"It's been tough because it's hard to gain any chemistry with guys in and out, but I just hate it for the big fella."

Lopez is averaging a team-high of 20.7 points per game this season.
