Denmark win badminton mixed doubles gold

Denmark have beaten France to win gold in the badminton mixed doubles at the European Games.

The Danish duo of Niclas Nohr and Sara Thygesen proved too strong for France, winning in straights sets, 21-16 21-16.

Nohr and Thygesen helped Denmark to their third gold medal of the Games.

Earlier in the day, both Ireland and Germany picked up bronze after losing the semi-finals in Baku.
