Gatlin aiming to crowd please

Justin Gatlin has revealed that he is hoping to please the supporters during his quest to win Olympic gold this summer.

The American sprinter was speaking after he won his 100m heat in a time of 9.97s earlier today.

"It was good and the track is super fast," he told BBC Sport. "I just want to go out there and focus on my lane and give the supporters a good show."

Gatlin, 30, won gold in the 100m at the 2004 Games in Athens.
