Ross Murray out of 1500m

Great Britain's Ross Murray missed out on a place in the final of the men's 1500m this evening.

The youngster could only manage to finish 10th in his semi-final in a time of 3:44.02.

Algeria's Taoufik Makhloufi eventually won the race, clocking a time of 3:42.24 as he crossed the line ahead of the field.

Asbel Kiprop, Mekonnen Gebremedhin, Leonel Manzano and Henrik Ingebrigtsen all finished within the qualification places.
