Lucy Hatton "really excited" by European Indoor Championships inclusion

Lucy Hatton has expressed her excitement at being included in the Team GB squad for next month's European Indoor Championships in Prague.

Speaking to Sports Mole on Saturday in Birmingham after she had failed to make the 60m hurdles qualifying time, the 20-year-old conceded that she was "absolutely gutted" to have seemingly missed out on the trip to the Czech Republic.

However, despite having fallen short, it was announced today that the Leicester University student had made the cut.

The three-day event will begin on Friday, March 6.
