World records fly in men's T44 200m heats

The world record has been broken twice in the heats of the men's T44 200m.

In the first heat Alan Fonteles Cardoso of Brazil posted a 21.88 after getting off to a terrible start.

Then in heat three Oscar Pistorius showed that he means business by smashing Cardoso's time with a 21.30.

The final is set to be a quick one, with heat two's winner Blake Leeper also dipping under the world record as it stood before the day started. He ran 22.23.
