Maurice Greene has backed Yohan Blake to beat his compatriot Usain Bolt in the 100m.

Five-time world champion Maurice Greene has backed Yohan Blake to beat his Jamaican teammate Usain Bolt in the 100m finals.

Blake has already beaten Bolt in both the 100m and 200m this season and is looking to cause an upset at London 2012.

Speaking about the 100m, Greene claimed: "Usain will go out there and continue to do the things he does... But Blake is going to win."

Relating to his personal failure to claim a second gold at Athens 2004, Greene added: "The pressure of coming back to the Olympic Games is very tough, especially when you're trying to replicate what you did four years ago".

The Jamaican pair will go head-to-head in the Olympic Stadium next week.
