Defending Commonwealth Games champion Dai Greene exits the 400m hurdles competition, but Team England's Richard Yates qualifies for the final.

Yates reached the final despite failing to finish in the top two of his heat as his time of 49.80s was the second-fastest out of the non-automatic qualifiers.

Greene crashed out of the competition as he recorded a time of 50.36s after attempting to make a comeback from a spate of injuries, and he will not be able to defend his title from the Delhi Games.

England's Seb Rodger and Niall Flannery also failed to reach the final, which takes place on Thursday.
