Ukraine snatch women's team bronze

Ukraine have won bronze in the women's archery team event after producing a remarkable comeback to see off the Russian Federation.

Russia dominated the opening exchanges as they powered into a 4-0 advantage after two sets, but Ukraine remained in the contest by nicking the third by a single point.

Three maximum arrows resulted in a comfortable win in the fourth to level the match at 4-4, before another three maximum scores during a playoff saw them capitalise on one nine-point arrow from Russia.

Third place takes Ukraine's medal total up to 15 for the Games.

The gold medal went to Italy, who recorded a 5-3 win over Belarus in the final.
