German Karina Winter beat Maja Jager of Denmark 6-2 to win the archery women's individual gold medal at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium on Sunday.
Alicia Marin of Spain defeated Greece's Evengelia Psarra 6-4 to win the bronze medal.
Germany currently stand third in the medals table but it is their first medal in the archery.
