Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Jason Licht: 'Jameis Winston has to limit his mistakes'

Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht has called on Jameis Winston to limit his mistakes ahead of his rookie campaign in the NFL.

The NFC South side selected the quarterback with the first overall pick in the 2015 Draft, and the 21-year-old has already secured his place as the starter for Lovie Smith's men.

However, Licht has warned Winston that he has to limit his errors during the season in order for the club to improve on their 2-14 record from the 2014 season.

"One thing we love about Jameis is he trusts his arm, but at the same time we want to minimise mistakes," Licht told NFL Network.

The Buccaneers open the season against the Tennessee Titans on September 13.
