Carroll: Harvin surgery went "very well"

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has revealed that receiver Percy Harvin's hip surgery went "very well".

The former Minnesota Vikings wideout injured his hip during the off-season and was forced to go under the knife to repair the damage.

When asked how Harvin's surgery went, Carroll told KIRO-AM: [It went] "very well. We're hopeful he'll have a chance to get back."

Seattle traded their 2013 first-round pick in the draft to land Harvin from the Vikings in April.
