Pittsburgh Steelers claim BW Webb from waiver wire

The Pittsburgh Steelers confirm that they have signed cornerback BW Webb off the waiver wire following his release by the Dallas Cowboys.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced that they have claimed cornerback BW Webb from the waiver wire.

The 24-year-old was released by the Dallas Cowboys as part of their initial roster cutdown earlier this week after just one season at the club.

However, Webb's wait for an NFL team to pick him wasn't long as the Steelers moved to sign him to bolster their secondary ahead of the 2014 season.

Webb was selected by the Cowboys as the 114th pick in the 2013 Draft.
