New York Giants defensive tackle Mike Patterson has admitted that he wants to return to the club next season.

The 30-year-old joined the Giants in the off-season after spending eight years with their rivals in the NFC East the Philadelphia Eagles and is hopeful that the club will chose to keep him.

"I waited a long time to get in this locker room," Patterson told reporters. "Hopefully I'm back next season."

Patterson played in all 16 games for the club and registered 23 tackles in the 2013 season.
