Tom Coughlin: 'I want to stay with the New York Giants'

New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin insists that he wants to stay with his side despite missing the playoffs for the second straight season.

New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has outlined his ambition to stay at the club despite missing the playoffs.

The 67-year-old finished his 17th season as a head coach in the NFL, but missed the post-season for the second-straight year with the Giants following their 0-6 start to the season.

"I want to coach. Everybody wants to know what's next for me. I hope it's coaching the New York Giants," Coughlin told reporters.

Coughlin has won two Super Bowls as head coach of the Giants in the 2007 and 2011 seasons.
