Jacksonville Jaguars 're-sign defensive end Tyson Alualu'

A report suggests that Tyson Alualu has agreed a two-year deal to remain with the Jacksonville Jaguars, despite an underwhelming five years with the AFC South side.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed a deal to re-sign defensive end Tyson Alualu, according to a report.

The 27-year-old was due to become a free agent on Tuesday when the 2015 league year officially begins.

Jacksonville have decided to keep Alualu, despite his underwhelming performances in his five years since being selected with the 10th overall pick in the 2010 Draft.

He and the club have agreed a two-year contract worth $6m [£3.9m], with $4.2m [£2.8m] guaranteed, reports NFL Network.

Alualu has recorded 195 tackles and 13 sacks in his five-year NFL career.
