Jacksonville Jaguars' Dante Fowler to miss 2015 season

Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Dante Fowler will miss the 2015 season after tearing his ACL.

The 20-year-old was selected with the third overall pick in the 2015 Draft by Gus Bradley's men after his impressive college career with the Florida Gators.

However, Fowler sustained an injury in his first practice of the club's rookie minicamp, falling awkwardly during 11-on-11 drills when attempting to rush against tackle Watts Dantzler.

The defensive end is expected to undergo surgery in the near future, which will rule him out for the 2015 campaign.

Fowler recorded 73 tackles and 14.5 sacks in his three seasons with the Gators.
