Grigson: 'Richardson key to Colts success'

Ryan Grigson has said that the Indianapolis Colts would not have won 12 games in the 2013 NFL season without Trent Richardson.

The AFC South champions gave up their first-round pick in this year's Draft to acquire the running back from the Cleveland Browns in September.

The general manager told the Indianapolis Star: "He's not going anywhere. We have him for the long haul. We don't win 12 games this year if Trent Richardson isn't here. That's a fact. With a year under his belt, you're going to see a different player."

Richardson had 458 rushing yards, 38 receiving yards and a touchdown during his 14 games with the Colts.
