Half-Time Report: Houston Texans in command against Oakland Raiders

Touchdowns from JJ Watt and Arian Foster put the Houston Texans in control of their NFL clash with the Oakland Raiders at the break.

The Houston Texans hold a commanding 17-0 lead at the break of their NFL clash with the Oakland Raiders.

The Texans engineered a good drive in the first quarter as a run from Arian Foster set up his side on the goalline. From that position Ryan Fitzpatrick faked a handoff and fired to defensive end JJ Watt in the endzone for his first NFL touchdown.

Houston went further ahead when they drove down the field again and this time Foster completed his run and powered into the endzone over the right side of the line for three-yard score.

Raiders rookie quarterback Derek Carr displayed quick feet as he ran downfield for a 41-yard rush, but then threw an interception to Kareem Jackson, which culminated in a field goal for the Texans.
