Derek Carr: 'I could be selected in first round of 2014 NFL Draft'

Former Fresno State Bulldogs quarterback Derek Carr feels that he has a "very good" chance of being taken in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Former Fresno State Bulldogs quarterback Derek Carr believes that he has a "very good chance" of being selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

The 23-year-old had an excellent season for the Bulldogs in their 2013 campaign, and propelled himself into the discussion of being one of the best quarterbacks available in the selection process in May.

"I would say there's a very good chance," Carr told ProFootballTalk.com. "Just from what coaches have told me, something I've heard from general managers. I'd say that the chances of it happening are very good."

Carr threw for 5,038 yards along with 50 touchdowns to eight interceptions in the 2013 season.
